Cotton Bowl

January 7th we headed to Dallas to watch A&M take on LSU at the Cotton Bowl.  We had a great time with old friends.  Joseph's sister and her husband met us in Dallas as well to enjoy the game.  As you all know, Joseph graduated from A&M, Melissa(his sister) went undergrad at A&M and Master/PhD at LSU.  Jonathan (her husband) went undergrad through PhD at LSU....so you can imagine how happy he was at the end of the game.  Melissa rooted for A&M the entire time.  It was a great game and a great time.  Thanks for joining us Melissa and Jonathan.

Tailgating before the game.
 Section 317...great seats!

Christmas 2010

I am home with the kids today for Martin Luther King Day, they are napping, so I am taking full advantage and blogging.  I know it is January 17th and I am just now getting to post from Christmas. We had such a good time.  Madeline was so excited about it all, I think this will be the first Christmas she will remember....decorating, Santa, Christmas lights, presents, you name it she loved it...well minus the visiting Santa part.  Roan was great as usual.  He got into opening the gifts and once he found one he loved, passed on all the rest.  Oh how I want me kids to be little longer.....

Christmas Eve was spent having dinner at Joseph's parents and then church.  Christmas morning we stayed home with the kids and let them enjoy their gifts.  Later in the day we went and had Christmas at The Willrich Farm.  Then on the 27th headed to my parents in Moran for the rest of the holiday.
